Welcome to our Youth Page!!!
May
5/2, 5 pm -5/4, 12 pm – Spring Retreat, Eastbay Camp, Hudson, IL. How good is your Jesus-Vision? Come and look at life through the eyes of Christ! We'll also swim in an indoor pool, get messy in the Jello-Bowl, and have some free time to run around. It's time to take a weekend for yourself before the end of school year tests are upon us! $75 per youth, sign up on the bulletin board, pslip on file required.
5/10 – 10 am - Mother/Daughter NETS Fashion Show
5/11 – Happy Mother’s Day, no youth
5/18, 6:30-8 – the 20's/30's fellowship group will be cooking for us and playing some games with us!!
5/25, 6:30-8 – End of the year stress-buster....details to come!
June
6/13, 4 pm - 6/14 11 am - F - Sr. High Campout! Come pitch a tent, go swimming (in a pool), we'll cook some food over a fire, stay up late under the stars, and get slaphappy as the sun comes up! $20 per youth, signup by 6.8.08.
6/14, 9 am - 5:30 pm - E - Jr. High swimfest at Raging Rivers in Grafton, IL! Slides, chutes, wave pools, and slow tube floating!!! Bring $20 in cash to get you in, plus money for lunch or snacks. Signup on bulletin board.
June 22-29, M - Motown Mission Trip to Detroit! We will be rehabbing a future single moms with kids shelter. Fun days include Cedar Point the roller coaster capital of the world, www.cedarpoint.com , and a Detroit Tigers game! Registration closed.
July
7/6, 6-8 pm - F - Graduated Seniors Dinner and chat at Mark's house week 1, holler for directions. Menu and activity to come...
7/12, 8 am - 6 pm - E - Jr. High float trip on the St. Francois river. It's a 4 mile float in Sam Baker state park (Patterson, MO). Pack a brown bag lunch, and bring money for fast food on the way back. $20 to float, payable to CTUMC.
7/13, 6-8 pm - F - Graduated Seniors Dinner and chat at Mark's house week 2, holler for directions. Menu and activity to come...
7/17, 9 am - 7/19, 3 pm - E - Sr. High float trip on the middle Ocoee River in Benton, TN. We'll stay overnight in a TN UMC, float Friday on a class 3 river, then stay the night in Nashville at another UMC. Cost is $105, meals included. Must have at least 10 Sr. High sign up to go. Signup deadline is 7.1.08!
